1929 - Frequent reports that the Vatican was on the point of entering into relations with Soviet Russia were denied tonight by the Rev. Edmund A. Walsh, vice president of Georgetown University and head of its foreign service school. Dr. Walsh asserted that no such development should be looked for except on a basis of common justice.
